I own several pairs of headphones and earphones for different music devices because I actually believe frequent pulling and plugging into the audio jacks will damage the connection points. Instead of sharing one headphone for my iPod, desktop computer and netbook etc, I decided to buy the Sennheiser HD 202 headphones for the best price from Amazon to use on my iPod. Being my favorite portable mp3 player, I carry it anywhere I go and hence I want to buy a good noise isolating over the ears headphones for $20.

The Sennheiser HD 202 Dynamic Headphones has a sealed in design which is better than most similar in-ear headphones, although the compromise here is its larger size. However, it is still quite compact so it does not take up a lot of space in my bag.

Most unwanted noises such as cell phone chatting, engine noise etc are adequately blocked from disturbing my music listening pleasure. This cheap $20 Sennheiser HD 202 headphones are circum-aural and fits my average-sized ears very well. The leatherette ear pads and cushion also contributes to the good noise isolation factor and it very comfortable. Overall, it is quite balanced and pleasant sounding across various types of music I listen to such as classical, operas, jazz, slow rock, Indies, etc.

There is also a cheaper Sennheiser HD201 Lightweight Over-Ear Binaural Headphones for under $20. Both are highly rated above 4 out of 5 stars by hundreds of users. In the end, I chose the Sennheiser HD202 for a few dollars more since the Sennheiser HD201 design looks really cheap.
